For Love Or Land?

Out here where the wild grass bows and bends,
A cowboy's just chillin' for a spell that extends.
Got two elks throwin' hooves like they're spawnin' hell,
In that big open ring of nature, no bells, no cells.
Hat tipped back, he's the audience of one,
Eyes on a mountain showdown, under the burnin' sun.
Beast against beast, in the rawest of rumbles,
Where the silent man sits, and the untamed heart tumbles.
"Whatcha fightin' for, boys? Love or your pride?”
The cowboy ponders, a soft grin wide.
With a tangle of antlers, a whirl of dust and fur,
An untamed ballet, where endings blur.
He leans on his saddle, thinks life's a curious play,
As the meadow resonates with the brawl and the fray.
It's a wild, wild serenade—nature's fierce, untamed song,
A dance where only the gritty, the brave prolong.
No need for words in this grand open space,
The tale's told in the snort, the charge, the grace.
The cowboy's merely a chapter in the larger scheme,
A simple stroke in the epic canvas of the meadow's dream.
The scuffle slows, the elks cease their caprice,
The cowboy tips his hat to the mountain's gentle peace.
It's life unscripted, in every wild heartbeat's release,
In nature's free rhythm, our souls find their own lease.
